Daily Routine for Guys (That actually works)


Having a set daily routine is highly beneficial for any and every person. We all live different lives; some of us work, some of us are in school, and some of us are doing neither. Whatever your situation, you can improve your daily routine.

The best daily routine has some core fundamentals. Think of your day as hourly blocks.



One of those blocks is going to be when you wake up. It's going to be at a proper normal time, usually between 6 to 9 A.M. You're also going to take care of regular morning stuff during this time: showering, brushing your teeth, grooming, shaving, and having breakfast.



One of those blocks is going to be when you go to sleep. It's going to be at a proper normal time, between 9 to 11 PM. You're going to do regular night time stuff here: washing your face, having a skincare routine, and getting stuff ready for the next day. If you take care of those two things, you're already halfway to having an amazing daily routine. Sleeping and waking up at regular times are highly beneficial and start your day off right, giving you the proper amount of sleep and energizing you for the day.



Now, we're going to take another one of those blocks for exercise. I don't care what your excuses are; you have one hour in the day free to work out (Click here to read our gym workout guide). Even Elon Musk has time to work out; I'm sure you do too. That's three blocks that we've covered, and these are our core or outline for our day. Everything else we do revolves around these blocks. If you work or go to school, you'll have multiple blocks dedicated to those things.


And now we've got our daily basic routine built up. We have our wake-up time, our fitness time, our school/work, and mandatory dedicated time, and our bedtime. But we don't want just a basic routine; we want an exceptional one. 


This is where we add an hour of our day for dedicated skill-building time. I have an hour every single day I dedicate to a new skill or project that I want to work on. An hour might not seem like a lot of time, but it quickly adds up, and within a year, you're going to have a really cool new skill or project built up.


And now our daily routine looks pretty good. We don't need to be any more rigid than that; we are human, after all. The rest of the day should be all yours. Think of doing things like hanging out with your friends, cooking food, or just watching Netflix and browsing the internet and being lazy. You need time to do nothing, and if you've taken care of everything else in your day, that's well within your right to do so.
